DIRECTIONS
From the south:
Interstate 95 from Portland: Exit 29 (off Interstate 95) in Brunswick to Route 1. Follow Rt 1 through Brunswick, Bath, and north through Wiscasset. Continue until the exit for Damariscotta, Newcastle appears on the right. River Road is on the right on this exit's off-ramp. Continue right onto River Road for 6 miles. Salt Point is on the left at Emerson Farm Road, soon after the large yellow Merry Barn.
Driving time from Portland: 1 hour.
From the north:
Route 1 south from the Camden area: Continue on Route 1 until the Newcastle/Damariscotta exit. Take this exit and bear left onto Mills Road; proceed approximately ½ mile until the intersection of Mills Road and Academy Hill Road. Proceed straight thorough this intersection for ¼ mile; River Road will be on the left near the Lincoln Home. Proceed down River Road for 6 miles. Salt Point is on the left at Emerson Farm Road, soon after the large yellow Merry Barn.
